Anglevarii Auxilia Palatina

I finished this base for my Eastern Late Roman Impetus army that is slowly growing when I saw these bad boys on Bill's Musketeer Miniatures blog.  This base is a combination of Musketeer Miniatures Late Romans and Westwind Miniatures Death of Arthur vignette.  The shield designs are from Little Big Men Studios.

Red Box Games Aenglish

I've finally managed to get some figures completely finished!  These are six Aenglish footmen from Red Box Games.  There are two more and Watch Captain Whistlocke waiting in the wings to finish.  The footmen represent the Watchmen led by Whistlocke.

Just for fun I took a picture of the footmen preparing to receive a charge from the HelsVakt (which I will be adding to in the not-to distant future.

I have almost completed another Impetus stand for my slowly growing Eastern Late Roman Army.  I ran out of red paint so they are stuck in a holding pattern.  Hopefully next month will see completed pictures of them!

Reaper Giant finished

I finished the Reaper Frost Giant. It was a great miniature full of character. Only down side was it was pitted in a few places that I had to fix.

The entire barbarian warband so far.

Giant WIP continued

Another shot of the Giant with some more finished. I took the picture outside with my light box and it helps with the colors.

I had a request for a comparison shot with a GW miniature and the only GW miniatures I own right now are some Bloodletters.

Giant WIP

I normally don't take many WIP pictures, but decided that the giant is a large enough model that WIP pictures are kind of necessary. It is a frost giant model, but I decided that I wanted to paint it with skin tones similar to the Red Box HelsVakt I've painted. I can see some parts of the fur I need to fix.
